LFS不能进入图形界面，提示错误

我用virtual pc启动LFS 6.0 live cd，登陆之后用startx不能进入图形界面，提示错误：
Fatal server error:
no screens found
please consult the X.org foundation support
at **********
for help
please also check the log file at "/var/log/Xorg.0.log

还需要配置啊？我用的新电脑杂志05年第一期赠送的光盘里面的版本，是否不能用虚拟机启动？刻录出来也不行啊，都提示这个错误：

试试Xorg -configure && X -config /root/xorg.conf.new

now i use vmware 5.5 ,it is ok! i can login into the xfce. i do now know why?,maybe virtual pc 4 is to old to use.

virtual pc没用过，vmware还是比较好的，我用它做linux没什么问题的。不过有几个要注意的地方，scsi驱动。
