first thing is to confirm you have gtk installed(not gtk2). if you prefer gtk2,try to find gtk2 patch too.

patch the source, then compile with --enable-gui.

before run first time, copy your skin file to /where/is/your/share/path/mplayer/Skin.

find the gtk2-devel package in your install media, and install it, because it sounds like a rpm one you installed? it should not happen if you compile the gtk2 from tarball.

BTW: you've applied the gtk2-mplayer patch?

是这样，我的mplayer是用cvs checkout的，已经ported到gtk2。但它怎么要gtk2-devel包？LFS根本跟rpm不沾边，我还不会在LFS安装rpm，mplayer的bug？
