知道文件a和它与文件b的diff，如何生成文件b？

我下了一个程序，假设文件为a吧。
后来听说那人对a做了修改，假设修改后为b，可是我下不到：）
但是，我找到了二者的diff文件（其实我也不太清楚这个diff是不是就是patch啊？），部分内容如下：
