samba is specifically design for the Unix and SMB server (usually M$) connectivity. Users defined in samba are restricted by the authorities as defined in smb.conf. Usually, samba users may not access your normal Linux shells despite they may use the same passwords by syncronization.
taht is to say,the difference between samba and system user is that the option owned .
the samba user does only his work under in the samba enviroment,and not have the access to the system,and this also suitable for system users |
