普通用户不能登录X-Windows？

为什么我的LFS6.1普通用户不能登录X-Windows？
用普通用户登录时错误提示如下：
sinclair@Fine-Lok:~$startx
.........
giving up
xinit: connection refused (errno 111): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): server error
sinclair@Fine-Lok:~$
而用root可以正常登录。
root@Fine-Lok:~# cat /etc/passwd
root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash
edwin:x:1000:100::/home/edwin:/bin/bash
sinclair:x:1003:100::/home/sinclair:/bin/bash
root@Fine-Lok:~#

确保 Console 7没运行 X。

可以运行 init 3 来停止X。

我是运行 ini 3 进入系统，然后用普通登录"startx" 不能进入X-windows
而用root进入X一切正常。

Hi sinclair,

I already solved my problem.  If you have not solved yours please try following steps;

Started BLFS 6.1 (assuming it can be started)
Login as "root"
run
# /usr/sbin/groupadd sinclair -g 100
# chown --recursive sinclair:sinclair /home/sinclair
(should have no printout.  If there is any, please posting it on the Forum)

logout "root" and "relogin" as sinclair
$ startx

B.R.
satimis
(P.S. in my case, no /home/satimis/.Xauthority file)

$startx
Fatal server error:
cannot move old log file ("var/log/Xorg.0.log" to "/var/log/Xorg.0.log.old")
