tar很快的。

以我的机子配置，备份debian近3G的东东，也只用了不到30分钟，其间还有我输入命令的时间。

ghost 2003 或者8.0
用ghost 备份可能在某些情况下可能真的有问题，比如说不支持文件的某些属性，
只是我刚刚开始学，应用环境简单，用ghost还没有大问题

Yes, this is the best way of doing backup.

However, if you get rid of the /proc and /mnt directories, it is still OK.

本来想用ghost,大家都说不能用.有人说用 tar,有人说应该用star(文件备份工具).不知道高手觉得怎么做?

                               分区
/dev/hda1  /           resierFS     (要备份)
/dev/hda2  /app     resierFS     (要备份)
/dev/hda3              FAT32
/dev/hda4  /swp                       (要备份)

You may consider to use partimage or rsync.

SWAP is not necessary and in /, you may not need /mnt and /proc should be avoided.

我估计在sir里，我的机子是性能最差的  

via C3没有二级缓存，比同频的赛洋还差。

你可以比比看你的电脑比我的快多少？
相信你用tar备份，比我快很多
