what can i do without "gnome-terminal"? who can help me ! hu

my "gnome-terminal" had something wrong for no reasons,and now i can't start it.even i can't use Ziguang Input to input chinese characters and  can't do anything now except coming here for help!
Until now i found  that terminal was so important to me.If God give me a chance again,i will say to "gnome-termian":i love you .If you ask me to give it a scale ,i want it be ten thousands of years.

what is 'ziguang' ? we're mostly using SCIM or FCITX for Chinese input. you mean the latter one?

as for your terminal issue, you may have to try other terminals like konsole(for kde), xterm(for X), urxvt ... if u insist on using gonme-terminal , install it again may solve ur problem.

No,the situation is more serials than you can think.
I can't user any "bash"or "shell",even i can't reinstall "gnome-terminal".when i install gnome-terminal,the system tell me that the rpm has installed already.And i can't install with ".tar.gz" because i can't use order (ming ling).And even i can't open "Start ---Run".so i can't do the things you said.
can you tell me how to start Xterm and other terminals?
KDE is also have some problems.when i switch to KDE ,it go dead and has no desktop and has no response.I don't know why!I didn't do anything with KDE!
