请教：关于virtual pc安装GENTOO的网卡配置问题

我用的是virtual pc 5.1安装GENTOO2005 ,
用LiveCD安装的时候可以ifconfig 并且可以成功emerge，
在编译完内核启动之后就无法ifconfig eth0
错误提示：eth0: error fetching interface information: Device not found
使用/etc/init.d/net.eth0 start结果如下
#net.eth0 start
*Bringing eth0 up (192.168.0.253)...
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
eth0: unknown interface: Nosuch device
SIOCSIFBRDADDR: No such device
eth0: unknown interface: Nosuch device
SIOCSIFNETMASK: No such device
看起来应该是网卡驱动没有正确装载，
/etc/conf.d/net为
iface_eth0="192.168.0.253 broadcast 192.168.0.255 netmask 255.255.255.0"
gateway="eth0/192.168.0.5"
查看virtualpc帮助时找到：
Ethernet Controller Configuration
Virtual PC emulates a DEC 21104a Ethernet controller. Regardless of the Ethernet hardware installed in your host PC, select the DEC 21104a Ethernet controller for use with the guest PC.
Note: In some cases, the DEC 21104a may show up on the guest PC as Intel 21104a. These are equivalent Ethernet controllers.
但是我在重新编译内核make modules时，发现无法找到 DEC 21104a 或者 Intel 21104a。
我应该如何做，这里先谢了。
