还是gentoo安装问题阿，在线等阿

在更新portage树的时候，出现以下提示：
!!! Rsync has not successfully finished. It is recommended that you keep
!!! trying or that you use the 'emerge-webrsync' option if you are unable
!!! to use rsync due to firewall or other restrictions. This should be a
!!! temporary problem unless complications exist with your network
!!! (and possibly your system's filesystem) configuration.

你的网络是不是有问题?如果不行你去服务器上下一个snapshot放到本地硬盘里,安装的时候解压缩过去就可以了,相当于emerge sync.不过网络比较慢的时候可以试试.实在不行就用licd来装,不过软件版本老些,装完后再更新也是可以的

我已经下载了一个snapshot了 ，是20050121版本的
我已经按步骤解压好了，难道不用再更新portage树吗，也就是不用再运行emerge --sync?

还有就是，我在slackware10下安装的，网络都应该是通的阿，不然我怎么看论坛阿

你的网络可能太慢,可在网络情况较好的时候更新portage ,在没有更新之前gentoo应该还是可以用的, 况且软件不一定要太追求新的

现在开始重新开始安装了，好像明白了点东西，关于portage树，只要下载个snapshot就好了，不用再更新也可以的，哈哈。现在script/bootstrapt.sh 中。。。
