Read from remote host ***.com: Connection reset by peer

I use ssh login a remote server and ftp(put) some files to another server from that.
But I can just upload 31.5M and then the following words come out.I have tried twice:

Read from remote host ***.com: Connection reset by peer
Connection to ***.com closed.

And the message from the ftp server is :


220---------- Welcome to Pure-FTPd [TLS] ----------
220-You are user number 2 of 50 allowed.
220-Local time is now 07:04. Server port: 21.
220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity.

你用的什么ftp客户端，直接用的ftp命令吗？
我建议用lftp来上传，把上传操作放后台，每隔一段时间ls一下，看起来象是15分钟没操作被踢下去了。

Yes,I used ftp.I don't understand what dose"reset by peer" means.

It's not possible I got disconnect by ftp server for "15 minutes of inactivity",cause I have transported data for couple of houres.

***.com is the ssh server.I got check the sshd config file right now.
