Knoppix is Debian based and is very suitable for beginners.  中文knoppix is a good start but it is a little bit slow.  Of course, you don't have any problems if your machine is fast.

Full installation requires approx.2GB, a poor-man-install requires 700MB.

However, if you are familiar with Linux operations, I recommend you iBOX, which is Gentoo based.  It fulfills all your requirements.  You can also feel the significance differences in speed enhancement compare to 中文Knoppix.  See http://www.linuxsir.cn/bbs/showt ... p;page=13&pp=15

Of course, the server edition.  Actually, Hiweed is Debian based which means that you can always update/upgrade your packages as any Debian system.  In other words, even you may have downloaded the desktop edition, you may still install server packages to run your system as a server.
