问得奇怪，不管用什么方式装gentoo都得用chroot安装的。

vidalinux －这个基于 gentoo 的 Desktop 分支版 不用 chroot.

也许 Gentoo新手可以试一下。

我试过了， 安装过程 是采用 redhat 的 anaconda， 安装之后 和Gentoo的 portage 包管理系统 无缝整合。
