谁成功在LINUX装过VMARE。请进来帮帮忙

当我把VMware-workstation-4.0.5-6030.tar.gz解压后我就执行./configure


[root@localhost vmware-distrib]# ./configure
bash: ./configure: 没有那个文件或目录
[root@localhost vmware-distrib]# make
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.
[root@localhost vmware-distrib]#很多次装其他的软件都是这样我解压完后
执行./configure都说不在或出现好多的error 有谁能告诉我详细的装法。小

好像不是这样安装的吧，应该有个install.pl之类的文件，直接执行就会开始安装的(这个是vmware2.x的安装方法，现在就不知道还是不是一样)

运行./vmware-install.pl
最新的版本是vmware-workstation-4.5.2-8848

.tar.gz .tgz 的不一定都是源代码包

有许多 .tar.gz 包里是安装文件

您可以找有 install 字样的，就是安装执行文件


源代码包才是用 ./configure
make
make install
的

安装好了还要运行 vmware-config.pl 设置
然后才可以运行vmware

那么请问外怎么样去起动VMWARE阿，我的意思是说现在我已经按了Y以后怎么样去起动它。还有。如果我想把它删除重新再装一遍，应该怎么样去删除阿。
