how to setup lan interner logon?

dear friends:
my computer with static ip address is in a lan with broadband internet connection. is there somebody can help me to setup the connection for my mandrake 9.1 logon to internet? thanks in advance!

My computer is also in a lan. I must install MS client (proxy software) so that my computer is able to connect Internet in windows.
In linux i must configure my mozilla preference(proxy, name and password)for my connection to Internet. But in this case  i can't connect my lan.

it's so easy:
1, enter into xterm.
2,netconf
3,then you can config 2nd dns and enable router function on gatway.
