vmware虚拟机安装vmtools的问题

VMWare 7，安装debian testing，在安装vmtools的时候总是出现

导致无法设置分辨率，想了各种办法也没解决，有没有人遇到过类似问题？

我在vmware7中安装fedora好像也有类似问题，无法正确设置分辨率。

是vmware7版本太新的原因，还是其他原因？我电脑的配置I7 & NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M，不过vmware的虚拟系统硬件是虚拟的，貌似跟主机硬件配置没大关系。

求教高手。

过去xorg是可以通过修改/etc/X11/xorg.conf来控制一些显示设置的。但现在xorg.conf可有可无，我这里都没这个配置文件了。

现在就是不知道我在vmware7里为什么不能正常安装vmtools
