安装madwifi的内核选项问题

昨天刚刚装好的GENTOO，正在学习中，今天想安装无线网卡，需要madwifi驱动，可是不论我直接emerge还是从官网下载madwifi源码包编译都无法通过，错误是内核选项错误，please enable wireless extensions 可是我找遍了内核配置界面都没有发现wireless extensions这个选项，貌似网上都说要打开这个选项，可是我的内核就是没有。。内核版本是2.6.34-r1。。。帮帮我解答下吧。。谢谢！！

里面么，不是ath5k 就是 ath9k 选 m

我试过了，内核编译好后ifconfig依然没有无线网卡的信息。。。是不是还要进行什么配置？我是新手。刚刚玩LINUX 。谢谢啦
