从我接触linux的时候,debian上就基本见不到lilo了,所以对lilo没什么感情,倒是喜欢grub超过grub2

Debian woody的年代用过lilo,这年头,主流发行版上基本看不到lilo的影子了,也就slackware一直坚持,话说slackware本身也只能算小众了.

lilo 支持 ext4 么？

注意 squeeze 是第一个缺省使用 grub 2 的 debian 版本，以前用的是 grub 1。

去掉 lilo 可能可以理解为：如果 grub 1 跟 lilo 只是半斤八两的话， grub 2 已经远远把 lilo 甩在后面了，因此继续提供 lilo 在目前的 grub 2 框架下有些困难。

缺乏维护者的软件包，漫漫弱化影响可以接受。
从没听说过某软件包进入 debian 软件仓库后被删除的。

您这么问，大家有理由怀疑您是否真的使用过 lilo。

lilo 只是本分的 bootloader，与文件系统无关。
grub gurb2 相对 lilo syslinux 等专职 bootloader 就像一个小型 OS。


lilo 可以引导无分区块设备上系统。
grub 不能。
grub2 做过特殊处理，可以，但 相对 grub lilo 还有些嫩。
