Debian Lenny root权限下使用gedit的问题

如题，我这样使用gedit，导致提示信息：
[21:15:09@~]$ su -c 'gedit 1.tex'
Password:
(gedit:3951): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.

请问如何解决这个问题？ 我知道使用sux可以，但是不用它可不可以？
