为什么使用ifconfig命令无法更新IP？【已解决】

本来是dhcp自动分配IP的，我手工修改了/etc/network/interfaces文件，制定了一个固定IP，然后使用ifconfig eth0 down，ifconfig eth0 up，用命令再次查看，还是原来DHCP分配的那个IP，难道必须要重启才可以么？

/etc/init.d/networking restart 试试呢？

2L兄弟说的应该是：
/etc/init.d/network 吧？

我用CENTOS 5.3的，不知道其它版本是不是这个服务名称不一样。

试过了。还是没变，我的是最精简安装的debian。
