First questions,
I download the ubuntu weak ,but I didn't instal any thing,
now I can't write chinese on firefox,
Second questions
How to change to root?

Please help me!:help

切换到root：
$su

写不了汉字，安装scim
$apt-get install scim

不过你可以用网页输入救急

那就继续sudo apt-get install language-pack-zh

如何不能输入，是scim不能调出，还是能调出但找不到中文输入法。

可以把scim卸调sudo apt-get remove scim
然后sudo apt-get install fcitx(另一个输入法)

建议1）检查系统－系统管理－语言支持，把中文装上没有；
2）安装输入法，scim，系统会自动配置；
另外，请说明安装的ubuntu版本，以及你使用的源。

中文输入和中文支持没关系。
我用debian，英文系统，没装语言包，连locales都是英文的。
apt-get install im-switch
im-switch -s scim
重启X，就可以了。
