debian下面CPU变慢

我的debian是sid，cpu是P4 Prescott 2M 3GHz。但是在debian下面cpu频率却显示为2800MHz. 而且运行比较大的Matlab程序也比windows下面慢。我有一个程序在winxp下面每个循环5秒，在debian下面要8秒。我把内核重新编译了还是不行。请各位高手指点一下，这是什么问题
