debian如何编译内核的第二个版本

我编译内核的时候是运行
fakeroot make-kpkg --append_to_version -686 --initrd --revision=marvel.1.1 kernel_image modules_image
现在的软件版本是
ii  linux-image-2.6.25-686               marvel.1.1                       Linux kernel binary image for version 2.6.25

那么下次再次编译（我想让版本号高一点，代表升级）是修改哪个参数呢？ 我看模块的版本号中revision没有变

如果我修改revision的话，系统提示：

However, the ./debian/changelog file exists, and has a different value
   marvel.1.1.
I am confused by this discrepancy, and am halting.


我只有手动修改changlog里面的信息，才可以通过。这样是否不是很好呢？有没有像m-a那样编译的时候自动增加版本号的方法呢？
