用testing的源，里面有sun-java6,可能安装时有些包也要升级。

编辑sources.list文件的时候注意在apt源的最后加上non-free

etch源aptitude install sun-java5-jdk,

etch的话可以用backport的源，有java6，否则就用楼上的方法装5。
最好不要用testing的源

自己下载一个jdk6 。　注意amd64/i386两个版本...
是一个jdk6.bin的文件.
chmod +x 后,　直接运行.
然后 su root
vi /etc/profile
在最后添加:
export JAVA_HOME="/usr/jdk1.6.0"
export JRE_HOME="/usr/jdk1.6.0/jre"
export CLASSPATH="/usr/jdk1.6.0/lib/tools.jar:/usr/jdk1.6.0/lib/dt.jar:."
export PATH=$PATHJAVA_HOME/bin

最后执行
source /etc/profile
