cups提供远程打印服务的配置经验

本地打印服务器：OS为FC8，安装了cups1.3.3，打印机驱动（三星打印机）和花生壳1.10for linux(ip解析软件)。
远程客户机：OS为windows xp2 ，也安装了三星打印驱动。

配置cups：
1、打开http://localhost:631, 选择administration，基本管理设置中Show printers shared by other systems，Share published printers connected to this system，Allow printing from the Internet这三项选定，即许可共享本地打印机，许可其它操作系统连接和许可网络打印。

配置xp：
首先关防火墙或打开631端口
1、添加打印机,选网络打印项，URL中填入
http://打印服务器地址：6 ... �上打印机名称
2、再选打印机驱动
3、再一路next
