You need to add debhelper

apt-get install debhelper

到AMD的网站下最新的驱动，照置顶贴里的"debian etch 简要安装指南"安装module-assistant build-essential fakeroot dh-make debconf libstdc++5 linux-headers等，直接执行下载的那个驱动，安装就是了，我这样装gl2可以驱动起来，在安装日志下只有一个错误，说什么"trying a sample load of the kernel modules"。如果搞编译deb包，我没成功过。

我的是Etch4r1,显卡是ATI HD2600XT,用最新的ATI驱动ati-driver-installer-7-11-x86.x86_64.run（之前的版本在我的机器上都有问题，不管是直接运行还是buildpkg安装）。

sudo sh ./ati-driver-installer-7-11-x86.x86_64.run
sudo aticonfig --initial -f
sudo reboot

fglrxinfo显示识别了HD2600XT
fgl_glxgear显示每5秒FPS为1600-1750
