It seems that the installation of VMware needs a root permission.

I am wondering:
Is it possible to install a virtual machine on x86_64 or i386 RHEL4/5 platforms?

I have penalized on this problem for several days.

I don't think so.

Virtual machine still need to access system hardware, and in which case, its installation must require root permission.
