FC6.0安装时遇到的问题

在家准备学习一下Linux，选到最后决定学习Fedora Core 6.0。
正好家里有一台闲置笔记本，神舟天运P240C，配置如下
赛杨2.4G，Intel 845G主板，显卡声卡集成，256MDDR内存，20G硬盘
安装完毕后出现了这样一个问题。
设置里面，分辨率只有800*600和640*480两种
更有意思的是，整个显示器的显示跟窗口一样。
实在是百思不得其解，在这求教，望各位大侠指点一二。

注：过去笔记本安装XP系统的时候出现过这样的显示情况，屏幕会变的很小，四周是黑色的，
只有中间一小块显示出来但是分辨率可以调整为1024*768，然后显示就正常了。

我遇到一个更怪的问题，我也用Fedora core 6.0,使用KDE，进系统后分辨率是800*600@60Hz。显示模式也不能更改。然后注销（关闭当前会话），再进入。变成了1280*1024@60Hz，但是改称1024*768@85Hz以后就正常了。

可是我这里重启什么的都用过，也不行，郁闷

显卡的驱动用不用装?

在安装FC过程中，系统已经认出主板（显卡集成）的型号Intel 845GV，还需要重新装一下显卡驱动么？目前网上的驱动都是Windows下的，LINUX下的不知哪位大侠有哦，另外，具体操作时应该注意什么？请各位大侠赐教。

重新安装了也不行，特别是在显示设置中，显示器型号无法选择，“确定”按键始终是灰色
哪位大侠知道是什么原因？

显卡驱动重新安装了，还是出现此类的问题，BIOS设置中也没有显示器的相关选项，郁闷
