在VMware里安装完Fedora6后,安装软件出现点问题?!

在VMware里安装完Fedora6后,安装VMware-tools时,发现没有安装RPM...
所以在添加软件包时候,出现说,已经有什么程序在使用/
而且用SU 后执行ifconfig,说没有该命令,用ROOT登陆却可以执行ifconfig
[root@localhost ~]# yum install gcc
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Existing lock /var/run/yum.pid:another copy is running.Aborting

安装其他也相似这样的情况.
请问产生这样的原因是?!

another yum is running at this moment..
if you want to kill it, you can use ps command to find out the PID, then use kill command to kill it..

and it have nothing relate to VMware... I am using VMware to setup Linux OS... it is a good tool...
