How to install Chinese Input under English Fedora 7

Please help, I just installed the Fedora 7, but I found that I could not use the Chinese input under English language, could some advise please.

。。。。人家只是要中文输入，你干嘛让他重装呀，楼主你去Fedora区发问比较容易得到答案，如果你没有装SCIM就装上试试看.

在顶上菜单选择System -> Preference -> Personal -> Input Method，选择"use custom input method". 然后重启系统即可。

这绝对是不负责任的乱说。
我的FC6在bashrc里把LANG变量设置为中文就可以输入中文了。改为英文则不能输入中文。

把安装盘里面所有scim开头的包以及FONTS里面的chinese包都装上就可以了。。。我F6里面是这么做的。。

ls的是正解偶的FC6是用yum 把scim装上的就可以了

centos不需要任何设置，就可以在英文环境下进行中文输入（总算是达到xp的水平了）
