2.6.9-5升级内核到2.6.18错误！

我想把内核从2.6.9-5升级内核到2.6.18，实现iptables的string功能，升级过程中没有出现错误，但是重起后选择新的内核老是出现：

mkrootdev: lablel / not found
mount: error 2 mounting ext3
mount: error 2 mounting none
switchroot: mount failed: 22
umount /initrd/dev failed: 2
kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!!

在配置内核时已经把ext3编译进内核！
