安装时遇到“No devices of the appropriate type were found on the driver disk”

安装linux时，我用软盘加载了一个driver，用alt f3查看发现已经found/load/insert（按先后处理顺序）了这个driver，但是还是出现了一个对话框，提示“No devices of the appropriate type were found on the driver disk”，提示我3个选项：manually choose、continue、load another disk。我选择了continue，安装过程继续，所使用的driver功能正常

请问在我可以正常使用这个driver时，为什么还跳出这个对话框呢？在什么情况下会跳出呢？
