装好了，可是进不去Xwindow

apt-get装好了，配置了老半天。
root下执行startx后，2秒钟黑屏，然后出来出错信息：

(EE) RADEON(0): No valid modes found
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

...

XIO: fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0"
        after 0 requests (0 known processed with 0 events remaining.


请问到底是怎么回事呢？我是第一次装linux，Debian。

不知道dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86从新配置一下可以不，你可以试一试。

我用的netlist那张100多M的iso装了一个基本系统，然后在从网上装xWindows，也出现了你那样的情况。不知道是什么原因。
我后来又下了那个640M的iso文件，直接装的xWindows（我装的是kde），就没有出现那个问题。
希望高手解答。

dpkg-reconfigure xerver-xfree86
或者
dpkg-reconfigure xerver-xorg
来配置一下试试

显卡可以先用Vesa

进去了进去了，就是dpkg-reconfigure xerver-xfree86，重新设了一下就进去了。
看见KDE觉得真是不错啊，爽！！
可是马上又觉得不对，鼠标不能用啊。我是logitech的光电鼠标，USB口的，不知道该怎么办了。

我奇怪你是怎么装的，一般现在的sarge或者sid装好之后reboot之后都能检测出你的硬件
可能你的USB模块没有装入
或者你xf86config.conf里面的鼠标位置错误了，usb鼠标的位置可能是/dev/input/mice
重新设置一下再startx看看

I think you'd better list your XFConfig-4 or xorg.conf at here.
as I know, most of the problem like yours are caused by the incorrect configure.

about the usb mouse, please ensure that you have enable the coressponding surppots in the drivers(modules, you can config it using "modconf").
but i can't remember all the exactly drivers. just google it. it is easy with a little boring.

伤脑筋啊，我不知道怎么把文件的内容贴上来，进不了x 我也不知道怎么上网。该怎么办呢？
怎么能知道少了哪些模块呢？又怎么能加载这些模块呢？

还是在xserver-sfree86配置的时候多试几次,看看能不能好使吧

我在自己编译内核的过程中,曾经出现鼠标不能用的问题,记得后来好像是开启了UHCI什么的东西就行了
