安装VMware-workstation-5.0.0-13124遇到的问题

想装VMware-workstation-5.0.0-13124 ,但是运行#./vmware-install.pl后进入安装,一路默认设置后最后有一下提示.

    看了其他的关于安装 VMware的帖子,好象一般应该安装kernel-headers和gcc3.x。我的gcc是gcc4.0.1的，是不是有影响呢？至于kernel-headers我的内核是2.4.27-2.386的，且已经apt-get install kernel-headers-2.4.27-2-386 了。但还是有上面提示。

跟我遇到的问题一样。我已经解决了。其实很简单。
你的DEBIAN的GCC不是3.3的。因为你不是stable的。
所以会跟你升级到GCC 4.X。

如果我还是想装VMware是不是把现在的gcc4.x 删了，重新装gcc3.x的版本。

更换你的DEBIAN到stable版本。重新装系统。

编译kernel用的gcc版本和系统上安的版本要相同。

去http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/看看 ... 下的readme.txt， 不过我用的系统是FC3，可能和Debian不太一样。

如果是SID建议安装vmware 5.5 rc版本。
