Red hat 9可以作LFS 6.1吗

建议使用FC3作为host系统比较好。
我使用fc3做host系统没有任何问题。
redhat9的kernel 是2.4的，而且gcc的版本比较低。

我用as4编译lfs6.1，没有发现问题。

结帖: 用red hat 9作lfs 6.1在安装glibc的时候, make的最后会出错: 提示kernel too old....
看来真的是不行. 我已经用FC3开始实验了.

have you tryed make a new kernel for your RH9,   how can you give up trying ??????, i m using RH9 to build LFS 6.0 with DOC 6.1,successfully.check my post this month,you will find some problem and solution. i make 2.6 kernel for my RH9,but without any self configuration,just  all default,and no testsuite ,everything is deadly right.but you may encounter many problems,just be patient .good luck

我用redhat做host做了十几次，没有成功过一次，后来换LFS 的liveCD，一遍就成功了。
