problem with my chinput

i am in a new-installed gentoo
i am search for a chinese input method
now i emerge chinput
and i run "chinput" and it  tell me OK
but when i press ctr+space,i cannot see the bar
and i cannot type chinese

can anyone help me?

now i unmerge chinput and emerge fcitx
i can run fcitx without any error
but i still cannot type chinese by "ctrl+apsce"

i just cannot press ctrl + space to use it
it looks like it take no use to press ctrl + space
and i am sure my fcitx is runnig

first i emerge fcitx 2.0.1,i can only use it in intellij idea's jre's program, such as idea and lumeqq
but if i use my own jre, fcitx take no use

then i unmerge  2.0.1 and install 3.xx, i can see the bar ,but no app can use it
i am in kde
why?
