I have dual system,one is Windows XP,the other is Linux(fc 3),
One thing I wanner know is Whether the Linux can take the place of
Windows, can Netscreen and Lotus note be installed under Linux?
I have known that the we can install the fcitx for Chinese input,
and I also know that we can install the display card driver, but it need re-compile
the kernel,that is a little difficult to me,because I am a beginner .
Beside, the openoffice can do the same work as Windows Office,
if I can solve all of the problem above ,I think I will delete the Windows,
any advice will be appreciated, thank you.
Keep ur Windows if u need those apps dedicated to Windows only.
Openoffice can handle MS docs pretty well, but it's not doing the same way as Windows Office. Even u use Windows only, Bear in mind that there are inter-operational problems between different versions of MS office also. |
