问一下x的locale到底怎么设置

我用的是xorg X11R6.8.2
LC_ALL社的是zh_CN.GB2312
启动x的时候报错 locale not supported by Xlib
察看/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale/下 没有zh_CN.GB2312这个目录
后来我自己修改locale.dir 加了一句zh_CN/XLC_LOCALE zh_CN.GB2312
启动还是 locale not supported by Xlib

后来把zh_CN.GB2312 全改称 zh_TW.Big5
x显示全部正常。。。。

谁能告诉我问题出在什么地方？xorg到底支不支持gb2312?

我的lfs + xorg6.8.2 的xcore方式也对GB2312支持不好。

。。。我放弃了。。。用utf8算了。。。只要能用输入法就可以了

LFS对中文的支持我觉得很好啊，效果比我用的SLK好。
看看相关汉化帖子吧，应该能成功。
