Linux System Administrator (1 positions)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, build, operate and support IT systems and networks for whole company.
Provide end-user support and training for selected IT systems.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be organized and detail-oriented
Must have a good service attitude
Must be responsible and proactive with respect to avoiding problems
Must be willing to learn new things on their own, and ask for help when required
Must have experience with Linux or other Unix variants
Should have experience managing mail, DNS, Mysql database and web servers
Should have experience managing company-wide backup systems
Preferrably have experience with routers and firewalls
Intermediate level written and spoken English
A strong capacity and willingness to learn can compensate for missing skills.
Our servers are running gentoo and debian, our desktops are running Suse. So gentoo, debian and Suse experience is perferred.
You can work at home or any other place which you like unless our desktop has something wrong.
