有没有新一点的教育网可用的镜像？

我试了清华的 (ftp://ftp.tsinghua.edu.cn/mirror/gentoo) 和上海交大的 (ftp://ftp.sjtu.edu.cn/sites/gentoo)，可是都是只到 2004.10.。其他的，像 ftp://ftp.linuxforum.net/gentoo 太慢了。有没有快一点的呢？

ps: 能不能像 Debian 版那样，把镜像列表置顶呢？

也想知道, 使用官方的ftp://www.linuxforum.net/gentoo太慢
所以就只能用2004.10了

建议版主收集信息置顶

虽然是2004.10的，但是他们的distfiles里的软件版本还是比较新的，你们可以上国际网emerge sync，然后换到国内模式更新或者安装软件，可以省一些流量

对，清华的很不错，偶这下载速度能到1m多，就是偶尔会连不上，呵呵

就可是由于教育网封端口，科技网只能使用http://ftp.tsinghua.edu.cn来更新了。

我指的是 Portage 树的更新。清华的镜像甚至连 snapshots 这个目录都没有，而上交大的镜像中 snapshots 也只到 20040730。

清华根本不需要 snapshots
可以用她的  RSYN服务
rsync://ftp.tsinghua.edu.cn/mirror/gentoo/gentoo-portage
在 /etc/make.conf 添加
SYNC="rsync://ftp.tsinghua.edu.cn/gentoo/gentoo-portage/"
即可
