How to read the doc of some tools?

Such as the package gcc-3.3-doc, it has "doc" directory with .gz file.

I hope to know how to read it? Do I need to unzip them one by one when I what to read it?

如果是.gz的文件，那么需要先解压，再根据其中的文档后缀名选择用哪个工具查看，解压命令：

1. tar zxvf xxx.gz

不过好像（我不确认）这种文档是程序安装之后的在线文档？
至于如何安装方面的文档，可以查看诸如：README 或者 install 等文件，可以使用
cat README
或者
more install
等命令查看

hiweed

不需要解压缩的。
用 zmore 或者 zless 看就行了。
zless gcc-doc.gz
