请教，在redhat9中，gcc能否升级到最新版，如果能下载编译升级的话，具体应该怎么做呢？

另外，在编译、安装了最新版的QT之后，并且卸载了老版本的RPM包，发现KDE的壁纸不能显示了，这是为什么呢。

In Debian, upgrading gcc is very easy.  In RH9, what is the version of gcc supplied?  If it is not the buggy 2.96, then you may compile gcc from source codes.
