the wrong with wine

I installed wine by rpm, but it can''t work, i don't know what to do,can you help me?

ps: i couldn't input chinese by this englishi os,it has something wrong with iocharset

It looks your wine binary is not compatible with your system.  You may try to install other version or you can download the wine source codes and compile it by yourself.

Wine is a bitch to use.  As long as you can find a version works OK for you, stay with it.  Newer versions may not as good as old one.  As for me, wine-20040505 works OK but none of the newer versions work for me.

Also, if you are going to compile the src codes by yourself, try using gcc-3.3.x, wine binaries with compiled with gcc-3.4.x are less compatible!
