about bootsector.s

im now researching on kernel internals,who knows about bootsector.s,is the asm code written into floppy 1 sector when i build my kernel?  can it be written into MBR??    i want do some change in it!

does linux partition have the bootsector like DOS bootsector ?

i solve that problem, bootsector.S is to be written into the bootsector of floppy when u build kernel, just like u " make install" the grub to write grub into MBR or bootsector!some assemble programmer just  add something more powerful into it ,grt!!!
