看帖子我运行xf86config没有这个文件root下ls没有任何目录。用find也找不到它。是否root下本来就无目录？mouse怎么解决？请指点！！！

建议你安装的时候选择full模式安装
xf86config你可以试着打xorgconfig试一下
mouse可以用mouseconfig解决

在/etc/X11下。slack10用Xorg,为/etc/X11/xorg.conf文件,slack9用xfree86,为/etc/X11/XF86Config-4

看看你的显示器频率设置那有没有问题，最好将你的xorg.conf贴上来大家看看才能帮你找错误

我的彩显是十年前的东东，我不知道参数。在windows中设的super
vga 75hz 24真彩，800*600。slack中我开始按这个设，后有按16高彩，反正前面几种低配置选项我读试了，可还是不行。我就把所有的xorg删了，运行startx无出错信息但还是跟最开始一样能进xfce就是mouse不动。为何xorg删了还能startx呢？是不是哪还有一个？

最笨的办法运行一个光盘运行的 linux(如slax,knoppix)，进去把XF86Config-4或xorg.conf文件拷贝下来替换原来的文件
