Hotw to change to SuperUser????

For VMware Workstation setup ,the system ask me to run"Vmware-config.pl'

I have Adminitrator authority,but the system request me to swith to Super User , how can I do?

I am a newbie...:help

login as root or login as normal user then execute 'su -' , type the root's password to switch to Super user.

TNANKX,now I encounter a new problem
after I type "su -" and try "vmware-config.pl"
system display a new message:
"[root@localhost bin]# vmware-config.pl
Setup is unable to find the "lspci" program on your machine.  Please make sure
it is installed.  Do you want to specify the location of this program by hand?
[yes]"
what sholud I have to do?because exactly I do not konw the location for that file.
